Product description

Tiles peeling / falling off substrates, occurs quite often when influenced by construction condition, environmental temperature, bonding material, especially high density and low water absorption of high-grade porcelain tiles, such as vitrified porcelain tiles, full-body tiles, polished glazed tiles, microcrystal tiles, antique tiles, and natural stones, such as marble, granite.

To solve this problem, we co-worked closely with School of Material, Wuhan University of Technology (WUT). More than one year’s hard work benefited us with a big breakthrough, the new patented product - JANK Tile / Stone Adhesive Paste - has successfully brought us a new way of tiles / stones fixing, solved the problem of peeling / falling of tiles / stones, meanwhile, greatly improved the construction efficiency and lowered the construction cost.

JANK Tile / Stone Adhesive Paste is a paste-formed interface product to enhance the bonding of tile / stone and mortar, with special acrylic emulsion, inorganic fillers, special agents and quatz sand as main material.

The bulk products have been tested repeatedly by Macromolecule Lab of WUT, Hubei Provincial Building Material Quality Supervision and Inspection Station, National Centre for Quality Supervision and Test of Building Engineering, to find out that all the technical properties are better than the relative national (GB) or industrial standard.

碱克瓷砖背胶粘结原理

碱克瓷砖背胶分子与水泥砂浆表面分子的粘结有两个过程：

第一阶段是瓷砖背胶分子借助于布朗运动向水泥砂浆表面扩散，使两个界面的极性基团或链节相互靠近，在此过程中，升温、施加压力和降低瓷砖背胶粘度都有利于布朗运动的加强；

第二阶段是吸附力的产生，当瓷砖背胶与水泥砂浆分子之间的距离达到10-5Å时界面分子之间便产生互相引力，使分子间的距离进一步缩短到处于至大稳定状态，从而达到超强粘结力。

The bonding theory of JANK tile / stone adhesive paste

The molecules of JANK tile / stone adhesive paste, and the surface molecules of mortar and tiles / stones will go two steps to finish the final bonding.

Step 1:  With the help of Brownian Movement, the special tiny nano molecules of our paste spread / penetrate into the tiles / stones back and the mortar surface, during this procedure, temperature increasing, more physical pressure will enhance the Brownian Movement.

Step 2:  When the two kinds of molecules reach a distance of 10-5Å, a series of complex chemical reactions happen, a super strong and stable gravitational force is built up between the two groups of molecules.  And special thanks to our paste with a thermal expansion coefficient nearly close to concrete, it’s nearly impossible to separate the mortar and tiles / stones after curing - our paste makes them“grow into” an inseparable whole unit.

In one word, JANK tile / stone adhesive paste achieves perfect combination of chemical and physical bonding with tile / stone, in replacement of only physical bonding by conventional mortar, and various cement adhesive / glue / grout & adhesive emulsion in market.

瓷砖背胶使用说明

1. 打开桶盖即可使用；

2. 将胶浆均匀薄批到预处理的基面上（如瓷砖背面和需要粘贴的界面）；

3. 趁胶浆未干立即抹水泥砂浆铺贴；

4. 按传统施工方法铺贴；

5. 每平方理论用量约为0.55公斤；

6. 若需打砸破坏试验体验至佳效果，需水泥砂浆充分固化（通风状况良好、温度20摄氏度以上、铺贴15日之后）方可进行。

Application Method

1. Open the bucket and vacuum seal bag, scrape a thin layer of the paste on tiles / stones back (just fill the shallow grooves of tiles), not less than 80% of the surface area; don’t scrape the paste too thick.

2. Scrape cement mortar on tiles / stones before the paste turns dry and solid, better with 10 minutes, and then fix tiles / stones on walls; for big heavy tiles / stones, scrape half cement mortar on tiles / stones back, half on walls.

3. Consumption: theoretically 0.55kg/m2.

4. To have good smash test result, wait until the cement mortar is completely dry and solid (with good ventilation, at temperature above 20℃, 15 days after date of fixing).
